 Without
a doubt, St. Luke Catholic Church is a remarkable parish.
Throughout its 18-year history, our faith community has
grown in size, in activties, in ministries and in our commitment
to our community. So many people have found a special spiritual
home at St. Luke that 1,100 families now belong to the parish,
and nearly every week, more families come on board.
Right
now, St. Luke Church has reached another milestone in its
history. The debt that had been taken on to buy the land
and build the worship area will soon be paid off. This means
our growing parish will soon be able to plan for the next
phase of our journey. But first, we must pay off the last
of our mortgage, which has just $650,000 remaining.
A
group of parishioners has been preparing to launch this
final campaign to eliminate the debt, and this campaign
will take place in April and May of 2005. Three-year pledges
will be sought again to finally put this debt to rest. But
at the same time as we eliminate this debt, we want to take
a moment to:

Celebrate all that we have been able to accomplish
- Recognize
the many ways parishioners use our parish
- Hear
from all parishioners about what this special faith community
means to them
- Thank
all those whose commitments have gotten us this far
- Continue
our tradition of commitment to this parish
- Invite
our growing number of families to help build our future
- And,
most of all, look towards the exciting future that awaits
us here at St. Luke
As
we move forward with this Debt Elimination Campaign, we
hope to have you on board as a contributor and a committed
parishioner dedicated to the future of our great faith community.
